Application must be complete and signed by the same person on the bill, all applications must be accompanied with appropiate referral and supportive documentation (https://centerofconcernanniston.com/assistance) Piece of current mail and ID needed clients may be able to request utility assitance 1x/ per year, prescription assistance 4x/ year, clothing assistance 4x/ year.        If a client request food assistance 3x months in a row, they must meet with the director.         Household income, frequency of assistance, availability and/or receipt of other sources of assistance (SNAP, TANF, etc. ) are all considerations when determining need for assistance

      programs, if available. Program owns and manages provides multiple
      apartments and homes. The Section 8 program administers housing
      vouchers in the Valley and Lanett areas.
      Under the Public Housing Program, the applicant must qualify
      as a family and be under the HUD prescribed income limits. The head of
      household must be 19 years of age or older or 18 years old and married.
      The applicant must pass comprehensive screening which includes
      background checks on criminal history, previous landlord references,
      other housing authorities, employers, social service agencies, court records
      and the like.

      This location is eligible for Housing Choice Vouchers.

      child support services and adult welfare and social services. This entity
      also can provide food assistance through its Supplemental Nutrition
      Assistance Program (SNAP).
      Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) provides
      for basic needs for low income families with children under age 18 or age
      19 if s/he is a full time student in a secondary school or in the equivalent
      level of vocational or technical training. SNAP is available to low and noincome individuals and families.
